ADJUSTED FALL HOURS

We’re hitting the pause button this fall for our annual closure—to get ready for even more awesome museum fun ahead! CMON will temporarily be closed Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from September 2 through October 29. You can still join us Thursdays through Sundays during our regular hours for all your favorite exhibits, programs, and playful adventures! Member hour will still remain from 9AM- 10 AM each day we are open.

Message from the CEO

After an amazing summer that welcomed more than 50,000 visitors between June and August, CMON is taking a little time this fall to refresh and recharge. Since opening, the museum has always paused for deep cleaning, exhibit restoration, staff training, and big-picture planning. A couple of years ago, we shifted from closing for a full week to adjusting our hours in September and October instead—and it’s been a win for families and for our team.

So again this year, CMON will be open Thursday through Sundaywhile closed Monday through Wednesday. This change gives our staff the time they need to repaint, reorganize, plan ahead, and make important updates—without stepping away from our members and visitors for too long.

You’ll notice both little upgrades and a big one we’re especially excited about: a refreshed trolley exhibit ready to become a new family favorite.

We know the reduced schedule may be an inconvenience, but the payoff is worth it—because it means your children will return to an even brighter, more engaging museum experience.

As always, our team is happy to answer questions, share what’s coming next, or just connect. Thank you for being part of the CMON family, and here’s to an exciting fall!

– Jon Foerster, CEO
