Mini Wonders: Kindergarten Readiness

A 45-minute, play-based program that helps children develop the foundational skills, confidence, and independence needed for kindergarten success. Designed for children ages 3–5, each session features a new theme and engaging hands-on activities that encourage learning through play.

Ages: Preschool-aged children
Days: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday
Time: 9:30 – 10:15 AM

Materials Fee
CMON Members: $5 per class
All other guests: $10 per class

Homeschool Workshop

These 45-minute interactive workshops are designed for children in Kindergarten through 5th grade and provide homeschool learners with engaging, hands-on STEAM activities that spark curiosity and encourage discovery. Each session also incorporates opportunities to build social-emotional skills, foster collaboration, and support well-rounded learning.

Ages: Kindergarten through 5th grade
Day: Friday

Session 1: 10:00 – 10:45 AM
Session 2: 1:00 – 1:45 PM

Art Workshop

These 60-minute hands-on art classes are designed to inspire creativity, build artistic skills, and encourage self-expression. Perfect for children in 1st through 5th grade, each session introduces new artists, mediums, techniques, materials, and art styles. Children will create more detailed, skill-focused projects that challenge their imagination and expand their artistic abilities. Every class includes a unique, frame-worthy masterpiece to take home and proudly display.

Session 2: 2:15 – 3:15 PM

Art Grown-Up & Me

These 30-minute classes are for grown-ups and their little ones (2-5 years) to explore art together! Using safe, child-friendly materials, this class fosters bonding through interactivity that sparks imagination, enhances fine motor skills, and encourages social skills. Each class features a different art process project, giving both children and grown-ups the chance to explore new artistic materials, techniques and ideas. Plus, grown-ups will help your little ones create a unique art project to take home!

STEM Grown-Up & Me

Discover, build, and explore together at our Grown-Up & Me STEM Workshop! Young learners and their favorite adult can dive into hands-on science, technology, engineering, and math activities designed just for little minds. Through playful experiments, simple challenges, and guided discovery, children will strengthen problem-solving skills, spark curiosity, and build confidence while creating special memories with their grown-up.

STORY TIME

Daily Story Times blend literacy with hands-on games and activities that playfully promote early kindergarten readiness skills.

POP-UP ACTIVITY

Our Pop-Up Activities are always a big hit with our little friends. We might hold a dance party, host a STEAM challenge, create an epic obstacle course, and more.

END OF DAY PARADE

When the day is almost over, it’s time to join in our parade! March with us through the museum and out the front doors. It’s been a great day of play! This program is designed for children of all ages and their adults!
