CMON offers two programs to help prepare you child for Kindergarten- Mega Wonders and Mini Wonders.
MEGA Wonders is a 90-minute drop-off, kids-only class at CMON, with a hands-on approach to learning through play, helping to lay a strong educational foundation for kids ages 4, 5, and 6 years old.
Mini Wonders is a 45-minute class, with new themes each week. This program guides your young ones to practice essential skills that enable the transition from PreK or home-based learning to a formal kindergarten classroom, designed for kids ages 3, 4, and 5 years old.

Is your elementary age artist eager for an engaging and elevated art experience? Look no further than CMON’s (remove “new”) Art Workshops to explore new artists, mediums, techniques, materials, and genres. All classes will challenge the creator with more focused and detailed creations from impressionism to modern art. Each class will include a take-home frameable piece of art.
Classes are 60 minutes on Fridays from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Program takes place during the school year and are $5 for CMON members and $10 for all other guests. Guests who are not yet members, will need to pay for admission to the museum and the program fee.

*When registering, please only register the child participant. This is a drop-off activity. Parents may leave the museum and return one hour later.
Grown-Up and Me Art is a class for grown-ups and their little ones (3+) to explore art together! Using safe, child-friendly materials, this class fosters bonding through interactivity that sparks imagination, enhances fine motor skills, and encourages social skills. Each class features a different art process project, giving both children and grown-ups the chance to explore new artistic materials, techniques and ideas. Plus, grown-ups will help your little ones create a unique art project to take home and cherish. All are welcome to share the joy of creativity and bonding through art!

This workshop is an expressive art program perfected to work through 45 minutes of music and movement while refining foundational tools like empowered movement, attunement, positive social engagement, and safety building. Built on the foundation of collaboratively navigating self-esteem, self-regulation, and social empathy. Children ages 0-5 must attend with a parent/guardian who will participate in class alongside the child.

Music Makers is a NEW program designed to enhance elementary students‘ musical experiences. As Music Makers, we will cultivate a lasting love for music and the arts while developing our musical abilities by exploring musical concepts, learning to read music, and developing their own creative expression. CMON and make music with us!
Classes are 60 minutes on Fridays from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m.
Program takes place during the school year and are $5 for CMON members and $10 for all other guests. Guests who are not yet members, will need to pay for admission to the museum and the program fee.
Join us on Fridays for Homeschool Workshops, designed for students in Kindergarten through 5th Grade! These 45-minute hands-on programs foster curiosity and discovery in support of what students are learning at home. There will also be a special time to focus on social and emotional learning too!
Workshops are 45 minutes on Fridays from 9:30 – 10:15 a.m. or 1:00 – 1:45 p.m.
Program is free for CMON members or $10 guests to the museum. Guests who are not yet members, will need to pay for admission to the museum and the program fee.

To allow for participants to focus, only registered students and their adult helpers will be allowed in the workshop. Due to the popularity of Home School Workshops, failure to attend two consecutive classes will result in removal from future registered workshops.
