CMON AND YOUNG PROFESSIONALS OF NAPLES HOST NETWORKING EVENT AT MUSEUM

NAPLES, Florida (May 3, 2022) – The Golisano Children’s Museum of Naples has partnered with the Young Professionals of Naples to host a public networking event at the museum. CMON After Dark will be held on Thursday, May 12, from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. Southwest Florida professionals are invited to register online and attend the event, which provides the rare opportunity to explore the museum without having children in tow.

“We’re excited to welcome community members looking to meet other young professionals to this networking event,” said CMON Director of Philanthropy Laura Richardson Bright. “It’s our hope that events like this give area young professionals a chance to see the museum, especially if they don’t have children they would normally visit with, and to provide a unique and fun networking opportunity.”

Bright also serves as the Vice President of Young Professionals of Naples.

In addition to exhibit exploration, event registration includes one drink ticket and light appetizers. Guests must be 21 and up to attend. Members of Young Professionals, as well as Florida Gulf Coast University alumni, receive discounted admission.

About the Golisano Children’s Museum of Naples (CMON)
The Golisano Children’s Museum of Naples is a brain-building powerhouse and Southwest Florida’s first museum devoted for children and families to learn through play. With hands-on exhibit galleries, the accessible museum invites visitors of all ages to journey through the swamps of the Everglades, weave through a maze, climb a two-story banyan tree, or experiment with the water play station. Children can become a weather forecaster, a farmer, a chef, a fisherman, an artist, an architect or a veterinarian; explore the cold of an igloo, the whoosh of the wind, the sound of the sea, and the effects of gravity. Throughout the day special activities encourage our guests to get involved, try something new and be energized. CMON offers a variety of interactive exhibits providing kids with education, play, learning, science, technology, engineering, inventions, space exploration, art, math, storybooks, creation, building, sensory, and child development.
