Membership to the Children’s Museum of Naples is so much more than 12 months of free admission. With benefits including invitations to member-exclusive events and exhibit previews, discounted rates for paid programs, birthday party and museum store discounts, and (new!) free guest passes for your friends and family, it pays to be a member! 

When do CMON memberships change?

CMON is updating its membership program beginning on May 1, 2022. If you would like to purchase or renew a membership at CMON’s current rates, you may do so online here or in-person at the museum before Sunday, May 1. 

As of May 1, only the following (updated) membership levels will be available for purchase:

  • “Just Us” Membership: $135. Includes 3 people, at least one of whom is a child. All must live in the same household. (No additional children or adults for this tier.) Includes 2 free guest passes for friends and family.
  • “Family Fun” Membership: $170. Includes 2 adults and up to 4 children. (Option to add an additional adult for $75 and up to 1 additional child for $40.) Includes 4 free guest passes for friends and family.
  • “Family Deluxe” Membership: $300. Includes 2 adults and up to 6 children. (Option to add an additional adult for $75 and additional children for $40 each.) Includes 6 free guest passes for friends and family.
  • “Supporter” Membership: $1,000. Includes 4 adults and up to 10 children, as well as recognition in the Museum Access Fund. Includes 10 free guest passes for friends and family.
If I renew my membership before May 1, do I lose the remainder of my current membership?

No, you would not forfeit any months of membership! We want to ensure you get everything you paid for with your membership purchase.

If you renew before May 1, your are essentially purchasing a membership that begins the day your current membership expires.

So if your membership is set to expire in August 2022, and you renew in April 2022, your membership is still active from now until August of 2023, when that renewed membership expires.

August of 2023 would be when you have the option to become a member again at one of the updated levels.

Why are membership prices increasing?

Membership prices at CMON have not changed in several years and are no longer in line with what is economically sound to provide the services our facility does. This price change helps CMON continue serving families in our community with updated and well-maintained exhibits, gives us the ability to offer member discounts for paid programs and other exclusive perks, and help ensure the museum is accessible to any family who wants to visit.

How were the new prices determined?

Membership prices were developed based on what families would pay in regular admission to visit the museum between 3 and 4 times per year; meaning that if your family wants to come to the museum at least 4 times per year, you’ll save money by becoming members! Not to mention the additional savings members receive on Mini Wonders, Camps, museum events, and in the Museum Store, plus the free guest passes for friends and family who want to join you!

How do we use our guest passes?

Guest passes will be given to new members in-person at the museum when you become a member, or sent in the mail if you join online. These passes can be shared with the friends or family members of your choice and can be redeemed for free one-time admission to the museum within the 12-month span of the membership. Guest passes expire on the same date as the membership term. Unused guest passes cannot be rolled over.

You do not need to be with your guests for them to enjoy your guest passes.

I know I’m a member, but I can’t login. What now?

Members will be able to login (to renew your membership, purchase event tickets, or sign up for paid programs) using the email address on file or your CMON member ID found on your digital membership card. How do I get my membership card?

Once you become a member, CMON automatically sends an email to the address used to enroll. This email contains a list of your membership benefits, the expiration date, and a link to save your new digital membership card to your phone (via Apple Wallet or Google Wallet). Please follow the prompts to save the card to your phone’s wallet. This makes for easy museum check in, and a super quick way to check your member ID and expiration date if you ever forget it! Plus, the digital card shows that CMON is a member of the Association of Children’s Museums, which means our members get discounts on participating museums across the country. Simply show your digital card at check-in for your discount.

When does my membership expire?

CMON memberships are active for one calendar year (12 months), so memberships expire one year after the purchase date (unless given as a gift).

You can always find your expiration date on your digital membership card, which is sent to the primary contact’s email address on file with CMON. Please follow the prompts to save the card to your phone’s wallet. This makes for easy museum check in, and a super quick way to check your member ID and expiration date if you ever forget it!
