The Blue Exhibit

Young builders’ imaginations can run wild as they combine foam building blocks into structures, systems, or shapes. Build life-sized forts to smaller towers and everything in between. If you can imagine it, you can build it! “THE BLUE EXHIBIT” will encourage learning through play and innovation, as kids interact with a bajillion blue items and create the fun!

What is your child learning?

0-2 year olds:

  • Explore with their senses and trying new things, LOOK and TOUCH various items with different textures and shapes.
  • Encourage fine motor skills by helping little ones grasp, stack, toss and roll.

2-3 year olds:

  • Encourage sharing and taking turns to help toddlers with language development and social skills

4-6 year olds:

  • Encourage play with other kids to help develop kindness, friendship, and cooperation.
  • Cleaning up helps kids learn responsibility- so guide your child to put away their blocks after they are done playing.

6 year olds and up:

  • Planning and preparation are important life skills, and older kids can use those skills as they build something complex using a variety of sizes and shapes of blocks.
  • Risky play is important for physical development (like balance and coordination) as well as social-emotional development (like coping with stress and building self-confidence).
