Mini Wonders: The Ugly Pumpkin
November 2, 2023 @ 10:30 am - 11:30 am
Free – $10Meet the Ugly Pumpkin, who feels sad and left out as Halloween approaches. While other pumpkins are chosen to be carved into jack-o’-lanterns, he remains unchosen and alone. The Ugly Pumpkin sets out to find where he truly belongs, longing to be loved and appreciated. Come design your pumpkin, what color will it be, how many stems will it have, will it be short and round or tall and lean?
About: Mini Wonders is an excellent introduction to the formal school classroom with a casual and playful twist that’s just right for every 3-to 5-year-old. Our little learners and their parents work together to learn new concepts required to be Kindergarten ready. CMON Educators encourage and work alongside each child’s parent to make learning an everyday activity in and outside our classroom. Every month we explore new books, create art projects, tinker, and much, much more.
For the focus of our participants, only registered students and their adult helpers will be allowed in the workshop. Caregivers are invited to stay but also may drop off their child while they remain in the museum. Each class will be free for members and $10 for non-members.
