Mini Wonders: The Mitten by Jan Brett
January 11 @ 10:30 am - 11:30 am
Free – $10When Nicki drops his white mitten in the snow, he goes on without realizing that it is missing. One by one, woodland animals find it and crawl in; first, a curious mole, then a rabbit, a badger and others, each one larger than the last. Let’s find out who sneaks in last!
About: Mini Wonders is an excellent introduction to the formal school classroom with a casual and playful twist that’s just right for every 3-to 5-year-old. Our little learners and their parents work together to learn new concepts required to be Kindergarten ready. CMON Educators encourage and work alongside each child’s parent to make learning an everyday activity in and outside our classroom. Every month we explore new books, create art projects, tinker, and much, much more.
For the focus of our participants, only registered students and their adult helpers will be allowed in the workshop. Caregivers are invited to stay but also may drop off their child while they remain in the museum. Each class will be free for members and $10 for non-members.
