Mini Wonders: My Mouth is a Volcano by Julia Cook

April 4 @ 10:30 am - 11:30 am

Free – $10

Louis always interrupts! All of his thoughts are very important to him, and when he has something to say, his words rumble and grumble in his tummy, they wiggle and jiggle on his tongue and then they push on his teeth, right before he ERUPTS (or interrupts). His mouth is a volcano! But when others begin to interrupt Louis, he learns how to respectfully wait for his turn to talk. Today, we’ll talk about manners and social cues.

About: Mini Wonders is an excellent introduction to the formal school classroom with a casual and playful twist that’s just right for every 3-to 5-year-old. Our little learners and their parents work together to learn new concepts required to be Kindergarten ready. CMON Educators encourage and work alongside each child’s parent to make learning an everyday activity in and outside our classroom. Every month we explore new books, create art projects, tinker, and much, much more.

For the focus of our participants, only registered students and their adult helpers will be allowed in the workshop. Caregivers are invited to stay but also may drop off their child while they remain in the museum. Each class will be free for members and $10 for non-members.
