Mini Buddhas Kids Yoga Class

This 30-minute session is designed for Mini Buddhas of all ages, and parents are encouraged to play and participate. Our program allows children to learn the foundations of yoga with breath-work, asanas (poses), mantras and, most importantly, fun! Please bring a yoga mat if you have one. Class registration is per child (with 1 parent included) and also includes museum admission for the day! Check-in begins at the front desk at 9 a.m. Classes will introduce children to yoga through imaginative themes that take them on a journey which incorporates yoga, dance and play. Yoga has many benefits to children through the mind body connection. The physical benefits of yoga include increased flexibility, balance, coordination and increased strength. The mental benefits include stress relief, increased focus and confidence while working in a non-competitive team setting. Let’s not forget, it’s fun too!
