Is your 7-10-year-old artist eager for an engaging and elevated art experience? Look no further than CMON’s Art Workshops to explore new artists, mediums, techniques, materials, and genres. All classes will challenge the creator with more focused and detailed creations from impressionism to modern art. Each class will include a take-home piece of art and will return to CMON on Tuesday and Saturday each week, starting 1/9 through 5/19 . Participants can sign-up for one, a few, or all of the workshops!

“Sun-Ra and the Afrofuturism art movement”  Drawing inspiration from the sounds of Sun-Ra we will compose a collage while absorbing the sounds of the future. This art movement, fathered by Sun Ra, was  created combining imagery from the ancient Egyptian past with futuristic sci-fi imagery.
