Is your 7-10-year-old artist eager for an engaging and elevated art experience? Look no further than CMON’s Art Workshops to explore new artists, mediums, techniques, materials, and genres. All classes will challenge the creator with more focused and detailed creations from impressionism to modern art. Each class will include a take-home piece of art and will return to CMON on Tuesday and Saturday each week, starting 1/9 through 5/19 . Participants can sign-up for one, a few, or all of the workshops!

April 9th-April 13th 

“Patterning of Papua New Guinea!” In the art workshop we are recognizing two talented artists from Papua New Guinea, Timothy Akis and Jakupa Ako. In a similar artistic process we will be using organic shapes to create a composition that is inspired by the natural world, we will then fill our composition with intricate geometric patterns to show the vibrancy of the natural world we have captured within our artwork.
