DESCRIPTION:Grown-Up and Me Art is a class for grown-ups and their little ones (3+) to explore art together! Using safe\, child-friendly materials\, this class fosters bonding through interactivity that sparks imagination\, enhances fine motor skills\, and encourages social skills. Each class features a different art process project\, giving both children and grown-ups the chance to explore new artistic materials\, techniques and ideas. Plus\, grown-ups will help your little ones create a unique art project to take home and cherish. DESCRIPTION:Mini Wonders Workshops are set up to help your child become kindergarten ready. Our CMON Educators closely follow the guidelines set out by our local school districts and child development advocates to guide your young ones to practice essential skills that enable the transition from PreK or home-based learning to a formal kindergarten classroom. \nMini Wonders serves children 3\, 4\, and 5-years-old. The skills and activities presented will be specifically geared toward the developmental skills and attention span of this age range. \nProgram takes place during the school year and are free for CMON members and $10 for all other guests.\nGuests who are not yet members\, will need to pay for admission to the museum and the program fee. \nThese hour long workshops take place on: \n\nTuesdays at 9:30 a.m. (CMON member exclusive class) and 12:30 p.m.\nThursdays at 9:30 a.m. (CMON member exclusive class) and 12:30 p.m.\n\nTo allow for participants to focus\, only registered students and their adult helpers will be allowed in the workshop. There will also be a special time to focus on social and emotional learning too! \nWorkshops are 45 minutes on Fridays from 9:30 – 10:15 a.m. or 1:00 – 1:45 p.m.  \nProgram is free for CMON members or $10 guests to the museum.\nGuests who are not yet members\, will need to pay for admission to the museum and the program fee. \nUpcoming Dates and Themes: \nNovember 7\, 14\, 21 | Theme: Energy \nDecember 6\, 12 | Themes: Energy and Coding \nTo allow for participants to focus\, only registered students and their adult helpers will be allowed in the workshop. Due to the popularity of Home School Workshops\, failure to attend two consecutive classes will result in removal from future registered workshops. Look no further than CMON’s (remove “new”) Art Workshops to explore new artists\, mediums\, techniques\, materials\, and genres. All classes will challenge the creator with more focused and detailed creations from impressionism to modern art. Each class will include a take-home frameable piece of art.  \nClasses are 60 minutes on Fridays from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. \nThe program takes place during the school year. \nThe fee is $5 for CMON members and $10 for all other guests.\nGuests who are not yet members will need to pay for admission to the museum and the program fee.

SUMMARY:Mini Buddhas Kids Yoga
DESCRIPTION: This 30-minute session is designed for Mini Buddhas of all ages. Parents are encouraged to play and participate. Taught by Just Play by E.Co’s Elaina Vasta\, this session will introduce children to yoga through imaginative themes that take them on a journey incorporating yoga\, dance\, and play. \nRegistration cost is $30 per child (includes one parent and admission for the day). CMON Member’s will receive a $10 discount per registration (log-in required). Check-in begins at the front desk at 9:00 a.m.\n\nPlease bring a yoga mat if you have one!
