GOLISANO CHILDREN’S MUSEUM OF NAPLES ANNOUNCES 2022 NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM GALA: SUPERHEROES UNITE

NAPLES, Florida (September 21, 2021) – The Golisano Children’s Museum of Naples (CMON) is thrilled to announce its 2022 Night at the Museum gala will be held on Saturday, February 19. This year’s event, Night at the Museum: Superheroes Unite, is celebrating 10 years of CMON and features a special guest star and superhero theme.

The annual Night at the Museum gala is CMON’s biggest fundraiser of the year and has become one of Naples’ most highly regarded events. Night at the Museum: Superheroes Unite is hosted by event chairs Sonya and Brian Sawyer, and honorary chair Shelia Smith Davis. This year’s gala will feature entertainment from the award-winning entertainment and food by Crave Culinaire, created by executive chef and owner, Brian Roland.

“Our team has been excitedly planning this year’s gala and is thrilled to share this announcement with our community,” said CMON CEO Dena Rae Hancock. “The Night at the Museum gala was created to be a playful night for a serious reason – helping children grow through play-based learning. We are looking forward to hosting another unforgettable event that benefits our community.”

This event also offers sponsorship opportunities with potential to expose businesses to more than 1,000 supporters, donors, and volunteers. Those interested in learning more should contact Laura Richardson Bright at events@cmon.org.

About the Golisano Children’s Museum of Naples (CMON)
The Golisano Children’s Museum of Naples is a brain-building powerhouse and Southwest Florida’s first museum devoted for children and families to learn through play. With hands-on exhibit galleries, the accessible museum invites visitors of all ages to journey through the swamps of the Everglades, weave through a maze, climb a two-story banyan tree, or experiment with the water play station. Children can become a weather forecaster, a farmer, a chef, a fisherman, an artist, an architect or a veterinarian; explore the cold of an igloo, the whoosh of the wind, the sound of the sea, and the effects of gravity. Throughout the day special activities encourage our guests to get involved, try something new and be energized. CMON offers a variety of interactive exhibits providing kids with education, play, learning, science, technology, engineering, inventions, space exploration, art, math, storybooks, creation, building, sensory, and child development.
