CHILDREN’S MUSEUM OF NAPLES LAUNCHES ACCESS FOR ALL MEMBERSHIP

NAPLES, Florida (April 4, 2023) – The Golisano Children’s Museum of Naples (CMON) launched the Access for All membership as a part of CMON’s Access for All initiative on April 1, 2023. CMON’s Access for All initiative aims to provide access to the museum and our mission to all children in the community, regardless of their physical limitations, living arrangements, or financial status.

CMON’s Access for All initiative introduces and reinforces learning concepts through dynamic hands-on exhibits and demonstrations that amaze children, spark their curiosity, and begin the process of executive function skills, higher-order thinking, and motivation to explore the unknown that will foster the creation of lifelong learners.

This program has provided more than $100,000 in discounted admissions for families and school children in need since the start of 2022. CMON’s annual fundraising gala, Night at the Museum, raised more than $1 million, which included support of the Accessibility for EBT Cardholders program to fund a deep admission discount for EBT, SNAP, and WIC cardholders. On April 1, 2023, the fundraising event, Backyard Bash, successfully raised more than $50,000 to help launch the Access for All membership.

“Every child in our community deserves to have the brain-building, fun experiences that CMON provides,” said CMON’s Chief Executive Officer, Jonathan Foerster. “No matter what a family’s economic realities are, a trip to CMON should be possible. Our new Access for All membership is just one of the many ways we are making that idea a reality.”

The Access for All membership is deeply discounted to $30 for a family of six which includes unlimited admission into the museum for 12 months and member-specific benefits, such as daily member-only hour, exclusive exhibit preview events, and access to member appreciation events. The Access for All membership is exclusively available for those eligible for EBT, SNAP, and WIC benefits.

To purchase or learn more about CMON’s Access for All membership and other discounted and unlimited admission programs, please stop by the museum’s reception desk or contact CMON’s Membership and Engagement Manager, Lori Burke, at lburke@cmon.org.

About the Golisano Children’s Museum of Naples (CMON)
The Golisano Children’s Museum of Naples is a brain-building powerhouse and Southwest Florida’s first museum devoted for children and families to learn through play. With hands-on exhibit galleries, the accessible museum invites visitors of all ages to journey through the swamps of the Everglades, weave through a maze, climb a two-story banyan tree, or experiment with the water play station. Children can become a weather forecaster, a farmer, a chef, a fisherman, an artist, an architect or a veterinarian; explore the cold of an igloo, the whoosh of the wind, the sound of the sea, and the effects of gravity. Throughout the day special activities encourage our guests to get involved, try something new and be energized. CMON offers a variety of interactive exhibits providing kids with education, play, learning, science, technology, engineering, inventions, space exploration, art, math, storybooks, creation, building, sensory, and child development.
