Carrie Cutchens, Curator of Collections, is responsible for the care, display, and interpretation of the museum’s 2,000-object collection of cultural artifacts and fine art. In addition to the care of the collection, she will design and install exhibits throughout the museum and manage the artifact loan and traveling exhibit activities. She is currently working on completing the initial inventory of the collection as well as measuring and photographing each piece. She is also selecting artifacts and starting to plan the first exhibits. Prior to joining C’mon, Carrie was a Curator with the U.S. Army Museum System working in Fort Hood, Texas and Anniston, Alabama. She began her career as the Curator of Collections at the Collier County Museum in 1997, before leaving to serve in the U.S. Army. Carrie received her B.A. in Museum Studies from Tusculum College in Greeneville, Tennessee.
