Julie Koester, chair of the C’mon board, is a specialist in child development from zero to three and pediatric brain development. She is a former professor at Edison Community College and Florida Gulf Coast University, where she taught courses in psychology, human growth and development, and early childhood education. As a result of her expertise in a rapidly growing field, she is a sought-after speaker on early childhood development and education, holding seminars for local parents’ groups and appearing on cable television programs. Ms. Koester also brings a strong business and marketing orientation to the board as the founder and former owner of Mr. Toad’s Toy Company. Julie Koester has two young children.
