There’s always a lot to do on a beautiful bright day at the beach. Here children will investigate a how to make a sail boat or hunt for their own shells. They can take an imaginary boat trip into the Gulf of Mexico. Perhaps they might fish from the Naples pier or admire the beautiful pier pilings. If exploring the anatomy of a shark eye shell is more their speed, they can pop up into the “eye” and have their photo taken.

While children explore At the Beach, they’re also:
• becoming familiar with such natural wonders as shells, pelicans, sea turtles and fish
• using their senses to explore and observe materials and natural phenomena
• enjoying the unique opportunity of exploring the inside of a shark’s-eye shell
