How long will the activity coordinated by the Birthday Buddy last?

We always want to be prepared at C’mon and like to follow the lead of the children. If the group is perfectly content spending 30 minutes or more doing one craft, we may allow them to keep going and enjoy themselves. Likewise if a group only wants to spend 10 minutes on an activity, we’ll accommodate. Generally we will allow 20-30 minutes for the activity, 30 minutes of your party time for food cake, 10-15 minutes for greeting/social time at the beginning and end of the party. Please let your Birthday Buddy/Host know if you plan to open presents at your party, as that takes time as well.

Can I sit back and let the Birthday Buddy run the show?

We want you to be able to have a fun and relaxing party, too! But, at the Golisano Children’s Museum of Naples we believe in family interaction! While the Birthday Buddy might seem to be running the show, please remember that we will always defer to a parent for behavior correction, timing, etc. Additionally, with very young children, we will often ask for parents to help with crafts and games. Trust us, you’ll have fun too!
